Location and Directions to the Center


The Center is located at the Alameda County Office of Education.

From Oakland, Berkeley, Sacramento, and other points north:

  • Go South on Highway 880 to the Winton Avenue exit in Hayward – go East after leaving the freeway (straight and then up over the overpass).
  • As you cross over the freeway, get into the left lane.
  • Turn left on Santa Clara (1st signal) and turn right into the driveway (Alameda County Office of Education).
  • The California Healthy Kids Resource Center is in Room 176, on the first floor in the right wing of the building.

From San Jose, Milpitas, and other points south:

  • Take Highway 880 north to Winton Avenue in Hayward – exit East towards Downtown.
  • Immediately get into the left lane.
  • Turn left on Santa Clara (1/2 block to the signal) and turn right into the driveway (Alameda County Office of Education).
  • The California Healthy Kids Resource Center is in Room 176, on the first floor in the right wing of the building.
